1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Chiyo Aki website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Services Description

Chiyo Aki provides an online marketplace for browsing, enquiring about, and purchasing used vehicles for export. We act as an intermediary between vehicle auctions/sellers and international buyers.

3. Vehicle Listings

All vehicle listings are based on information provided by auction houses and sellers. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all details (including mileage, condition, and specifications) are completely error-free. Vehicle images and descriptions are for reference purposes.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in the currency specified on the vehicle listing. Prices are subject to change without notice. Payment must be made via bank wire transfer (T/T) as outlined in the proforma invoice. Full payment is required before vehicle shipment.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Estimated delivery times are approximate and may vary due to weather, port congestion, customs processing, or other factors beyond our control. Chiyo Aki is not liable for delays in shipping or customs clearance.

6. Vehicle Condition

All vehicles are sold “as-is” based on their Japanese auction inspection reports. Chiyo Aki does not provide warranties or guarantees regarding the condition of vehicles beyond what is stated in the inspection report. Buyers are encouraged to review all inspection sheets and photographs carefully before making a purchase.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

Once payment has been confirmed and the vehicle has been purchased at auction or from a seller on your behalf, cancellations are not accepted. Refunds may only be issued in exceptional circumstances at Chiyo Aki’s discretion.

8. Import Regulations

Buyers are responsible for understanding and complying with all import regulations, duties, and taxes applicable in their destination country. Chiyo Aki is not responsible for any issues arising from non-compliance with local import laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

Chiyo Aki’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the vehicle. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or the purchase of any vehicle.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
